How enlightened are you? To what degree do you experience enlightened perspectives? I've created a list of 10 experiences that describe the enlightened state. Rate yourself, get inspired and take on something new to work on.
Rate the degree to which you are experiencing the states below (1 is not often, 10 is often):
- If nothing changed in my life, then I would be in the ultimate state. There is no change required for me to experience profound peace and happiness.
- No one bothers me. Including family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, in-laws, and strangers. I can be around anyone without resistance or concern. I see that all people are innately innocent.
- I don’t feel the need to defend my ideas, beliefs, and opinions about myself, my life, or my choices.
- Nothing can rob me of my happiness. I have the capacity to be happy no matter what is happening in my life and in the world.
- I do not experience failure, embarrassment, or judgment from others. I am completely free to be myself.
- I embrace death as a part of the cycle. I am at peace with the inevitable death of my spouse, children, family, friends and myself.
- I no longer have unwanted mental chatter. My mind is quiet.
- I recognize that negativity doesn’t exist. The world is not good or bad. There is not one point of view that is better than another. Negativity is as valuable as positivity.
- I am present to the source of life that is within me and I see that same source in everyone and everything.
- I do not experience ugliness. I see the beauty and perfection in all things.

The Drunk Monkey is convinced that it is right about almost everything. Everyone secretly believes that their view of life is the right one. But it’s all conjecture and generalization. If you are dedicated to living an Epic Life, you got to get your mind to calm down and become quiet. It’s the only way you can receive the intuitive ideas that will help you create your Epic Life.
